This, paired with blood work, can help to show why you make stones. The answer could be elevated urinary oxalates....Or not. I am bodybuilder of 25. I suffered kidney stone, which was calcium oxelate. It has passed. Please suggest me diet chart for muscle gain & energy?

Find the cause: Try to figure out why you passed the oxalate stone. Stay well-hydrated at all times. Bodybuilders usually have a high-protein, lowish-carb, lowish-fat moderate-calorie diet and your having a stone should not affect this. ...Read more

Found out a year ago I had an 8'7mm kidney stone, but I never passed it. What does that mean? What happened to the stone is this good or bad?

Depends on position: A 7-8 mm stone may or may not pass. If it travels along the pathway of urine it may block the urine damaging the kidney and may also place you at risk for infection. Have a urinalysis down to look for blood or infection both would suggest the stone is still present. An US would be helpful to look for blockage and a CT kidney stone protocol could directly visualize a stone. ...Read more
