Can you still have thyroid problems that the basic TSH blood test doesn't show? Is the full TSH blood panel better?
What kind of test do you take to get a full account of how your thyroid is besides the the simple blood test to really be sure it really ok.
If your TSH: and T4 are in appropriate proportion, you feel well and have no abnormalities of your thyroid on physical exam then you should rest easy. Had full bloods done. Liver & thyroid fine. Everything was perfect apart from slightly low neutrophils. Should i be worried?
Probably not: 5% of people are out of the normal range on any lab test, so if you have 20 tests the average person has one thing out of range! slightly low neutrophils are seldom significant. This is a test that can change day to day so on another day it might be fine. I have perfect thyroid panels and blood panels, but feel tired. The only thing out of range is my iodine level, even after i supplement. Why?
