It is low: If you are asking about oxygen saturation the level should be above 90%. Normally it it is 97 - 99%. If the levels are in the low 80s - the person should be on oxygen. Your finger is: Probably cold or not getting enough blood flow, which then affects your PO2 measurement. If you are tracking your pulse oximetry, you should also see a sine wave indicative of your pulse pressure along with the O2 readout.
