Was on the pill for 3 months and now off. The last month I was on it, I skipped some. I recently got two periods the following months, now im late?
I had a light period two weeks ago exactly. Now I'm very lightly bleeding again. I notice it when I wipe that how light. I've been on the pill for four years but tend to miss days and I've been sexually active. Any idea what's going on?
I can say one thing: You either need to be prepared to become pregnant or you need much better sexual safety behavior. That said, it can be one of the things you bring up at an OBGYN exam to discover the cause of your unusual cycle. Please take yourself more seriously. It is a matter of health and adult responsibility. Best! ...Read more

Yes: There are no studies that have yet to show that skipping your period by not taking the placebo has an harmful effects on your health. You may not be able to continue filling your prescription early on a continuous basis, however. If this is the approach you want to take, consider taking a birth control pill that's made for this use - such as Lybrel, Seasonale, or Seasonique. Best wishes. ...Read more
Missed two periods. Tests are negative. Gyno said wait to see if I miss a third, then will give me a pill to start my period.? could I still be pregnant
Very unlikely: Pregnancy tests are accurate and reliable, and although no test is 100%, pregnancy tests are close. If you have more than one negative pregnancy test then it is very unlikely you are pregnant. I agree with your Gyno's plan. You should of course have one more pregnancy test prior to taking the pill (s) to start your period. ...Read more

Often times when you miss a pill your hormone levels are off thus resulting in spotting or light bleeding. On the other hand the fact that you missed a pill puts you at risk for pregnancy. So implanttaion bleeding is a possibility. You should have started your period by now or be expecting it soon. If it does not come take a pregnancy test.

Sometimes: If the pill is taken every day as prescribed, sometimes the lining of the womb is minimal in size which will affect whether there is "period" bleeding or not at the end of the pack of pills. That "period" is actually hormone induced bleeding to let you know when to start the next pack of pills and is not a "real" period. Some women take the active pills continuously to avoid any bleeding. ...Read more
