Symptom relief-exam: Right now, elevate legs and as they can tolerate it do gentle massage and flex movements of feet ankle calf muscles. Avoid salt, caffeine, alcohol and till swelling goes, limit fluids. Get an exam ASAP to discover cause and follow treatment plan. There are many possible causes - find yours. Avoid OTC drugs that warn about water retention. Good luck.

Ice: For the first few hours, use crushed ice in a baggie on top of the lid. By the next day it should be back to normal unless you have more than an average amount of allergy to the mosquito bite. You can also take a Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or chlorpheneramine to help. These can make you sleepy so take them late in the day.
