What happens if you take Premarin (conjugated estrogens) and nolvadex concurrently?

What happens if you take Premarin (conjugated estrogens) and nolvadex concurrently?

Can a person take Premarin (conjugated estrogens) and cytomel?

Can a person take Premarin (conjugated estrogens) and cytomel?

Yes: Hi. Yes, certainly. Just be aware that Premarin (conjugated estrogens) will increase levels of thyroxine binding globulin (TBG), which binds T4 (l-thyroxine) and T3 (Cytomel). I don't know your clinical circumstances, but just be aware that increased TBG may make less of the Cytomel dose available to your body. Also, be aware of the risks vs. benefits of postmenopausal estrogen replacement. Good luck! ...Read more

Should a female take both androgen and Premarin medication if she still have one ovary left I am a 60 year old female already had a hysterectomy, still have one ovary. My doctor put me on both androgen and Premarin medication now I have a tumor with cexes

I : I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. Many women are treated with hormones after they have a hysterectomy, to avoid the symptoms that can occur when hormone levels change. It is not clear to me if you have already had surgery on your ovary tumor. They can often do studies on the tumor to help determine the exact type and best how to treat it. I wish you the best. ...Read more

I took two Depo-Provera shots and now she just start me on Premarin (conjugated estrogens) pills how long does it take to work?

Hmmm: That's a lot of hormones. I'm guessing you have very heavy vaginal bleeding. Hopefully it will start working in a week or two. If not, i would consider getting a mirena (levonorgestrel). It is an iud with Progesterone that helps make bleeding lighter. If that doesn't work you may need surgery (ablation or hysterectomy). Consider the iud! good luck. ...Read more
