Mgt: The ankle imaging studies will provide more information regarding severity. I would suggest having more discussions or a second opinion by an Orthopedic specialist. Physical therapy is part of the management after ankle injuries and can be useful in your recovery. ...Read more

Couple things: It could be arthritic pain it could be patellafemoral pain syndrome. Depends where pain is. U need to do quad and vmo exercises. See if improving function of knee improves condition. If not cortisone or visco inj may help. Talk to ur local orthopedic/sports med doc. ...Read more
