Trust the test : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. See doc if period does not come in a few weeks. ...Read more

Would a pregnancy test 30 days after previous menstral cycle produce correct results?

Would a pregnancy test 30 days after previous menstral cycle produce correct results?

Usually: A pregnancy test will turn positive 2 weeks after conception which occurs shortly after ovulation. Most women have a 28 day cycle and will ovulate on day 14 so a test done after 30 days should turn positive. However, sometimes women will ovulate later than the 16th day in which case a rest done on day 30 would be to early to turn positive. ...Read more

35 days late for menstral cycle 2 negative pregnancy test have some symptoms of pregnancwould like to know if I should just wait for my cycle to begin?

Late period: It's hard to say why it happens, but sometimes we are just late for our period. Even if it's never happened to you before, it could be happening now. Things like medications, stress, travel, changes in your weight, can all cause a late period. If your pregnancy test is negative, and no period for a whole month, i would call your gyn doc. S/he may want to run some tests. ...Read more
