What Happens If You Pop A Mosquito Bite
I have a lump on my face that looks like a mosquito bite, but it doesn't itch, it just stings slightly and is red but not swollen. I tryed popping it?
Spider bite?: It may be from a spider bite. If it gets worse, be sure to consult your doctor. Spider bite often gets infection and rapid spread so don't delay in getting it checked out. (since there are other potential causes as well)
When you actually pop a mosquito bite, and what comes out is clear, is that venom from the bite or just the oils on the skin?
Neither one: First, you should never "pop" a mosquito bite. All that will do is prolong the inflammation, itching and pain, and delay healing. Second, mosquitoes have no venom. Third, if popped, any fluid that comes out is the body's own natural fluids that have accumulated at the bite as part of the immune system's response to it. That is, neither venom nor skin oils.
My husband has a knot almost on his butthole and we think its a mosquito bite but its very painful and it won't pop or stick with a needle what can Ido?
Don't pop or poke it: Sitz bathes can be helpful. Sit in a bathtub with warm water. There needs to be enough water to submerge anal area. Soak for about 15 minutes – several times a day. An alternative is placing ¼ cup of witch hazel & warm water in basin. Soak for at least 15 minutes, at least twice a day. If it isn't resolving or gets worse - seek medical attention.See 1 more doctor answer
My son has an infected mosquito bite, he is on antibiotics, and now has blistered, should I pop the blister?
Boil: No! You do not 'pop' blister. The skin of the blister is natural protection against bacteria. Continue antibiotics and see your doctor. If the wound needs to be drained, md will do it under sterile conditions.
I have a what I thought was a mosquito bite that turned into a huge blister. It hurts. Do I just pop it or go to a doctor?
Depends: If there is no red base or spreading redness around the blister, you do not have symptoms other than pain at the site, and you can stand the pain, would not rupture it, but simply watch with dressing and it should, in time, open itself or dry up slowly. If however things get worse in any way, see a doctor only then.

Itchy bumps that look like mosquito bites all over legs, new ones pop up everyday, started 2 days ago. My partner does not have any. Allergies?
Itchy bumps: It is likely an allergic reaction to something in the environment. Try to track down what may be causing this. See a doctor: Without being able to see and examine these it is impossible to say what they are. May be a reaction, allergic or otherwise, but you do not say what meds you are taking. Go and get this looked at.
