No: Herpes lesions can look many ways, but not generally as you describe. They can be excoriations that are very painful, or they may be little fluid filled lesions that rupture. They also may be shallow ulcers where the superficial skin has been eaten away by the virus (and these lesions are painful for sure). Cold sores: Oral herpes (cold sores) are commonly caused by HSV-1. Genital herpes is commonly caused by HSV-2. HSV-2 is not common in the mouth; however 80% of new genital herpes cases are now caused by HSV-1 through oral/genital contact. I've had all the prodrome symptoms of genital herpes but nothing ever happened, no sores, nothing. Could this be something else?
Several ideas: I'll assume you've actually had herpes then? So was it pain? Tingling? And you didn't mention discharge so we'll rule that out. You can have a urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea (but the gonorrhea would def have made you have a discharge). Chlamydia on the other hand can be silent or very very mild in guys.
