Infection? STD?: If at the end of an otherwise normal period, see what happens the next few days. But if you're between normal menstrual cycles or otherwise uncertain, see a doctor. I am 6weks pregnant, sac of the bb is smaller than the embroyo., I hav spotting and the bb is dead, do ihav to get clean my uterus? Or any consequences?
Early loss: I think the first thing to do is take a deep breath. If there is no fetal heartbeat and you have already started bleeding you can simply let nature take its course and spontaneously pass the pregnancy. If you so desire you can also have the pregnancy removed surgically with a D and C. The decision is yours to be made with the help of your physician. ...Read more

I was pregnant for 7weeks &the embryo pulse stopped. How to ensure that the uterus is clean & ready for another pregnancy? I'm afraid from this abortion
Ultrasound: The easiest way to determine that the uterus has been cleaned of all products of conception is a vaginal ultrasound. The thickness of the lining of the uterus can be measured in this way and if too thick based on your cycle, could indicate retained pregnancy tissue. This situation usually results in fairly heavy bleeding and may include cramping as well. ...Read more

I have taken the pill and I have this strange tingle like tickle in my uterus. Could this be the Plan B pill?
Are morning after pills safe? And is it okay that I take them frequently or do they have side effects on the uterus?
For emergencies: "morning-after" pills are emergency contraceptives, which means they are the back-up plan when the main plan goes wrong. So, one should always have a main plan that works, whether that is birth control pills, condoms, abstinence, etc... Emergencies happen to people only once in a while, so emergency contraceptives are not designed for frequent use. ...Read more
Started new bc pills 9d ago. 1st time in 2y. Keep feeling like period is gonna start. Uterus feels heavy/full. Is that normal? It doesn't feel right.
I took the Plan B pill last Tuesday. I'm now having really bad pains on the left side of my uterus. It's like normal cramps but on one side. Is this a bad sign?
Possible: Without more information it is difficult to say if you should worry. First do a pregnancy test. If positive, see your GYN (or come see me, I am in Vegas). If your test is negative, then you should still see a doctor but it is less urgent than with a positive test. Cramps and bleeding is normal after plan B - but having them to one side could be a problem. ...Read more
I have a heart shaped uterus, can this cause irregular bleedings? I'm on the pill and this happens like 2 times a year
Shouldn't be: A bicornuate uterus (heart shaped) can have a septum or even a side of the uterus that doesn't connect to the cervix. If this were the case, you'd have painful cycles more often +/- abnormal bleeding. With your symptoms, I doubt the shape has anything to do with it. Continue the ocps and occasional break-through bleeding is to be expected. Twice a year is not bad. ...Read more
