Is a first response early result pregnancy test more accurate then a dr.S office urine test? My home pregnancy test was pos but doc office was neg!

Not likely.: No test is 100% accurate, unfortunately. I'd suggest waiting a week, repeating the home test, and if it's still positive, going back to your doctor's. If the doctor's office urine test is still negative, your doctor can order a blood test for pregnancy, which is more accurate. ...Read more

Will a urine pregnancy test done at the doctor's office be accurate 19 days after suspected implantationn bleeding ended?

Trust the test: Urine pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

I had to at home pregnancy test and a urine test at the office all positive but nothing shows in the sonogram. Why is this?

I had to at home pregnancy test and a urine test at the office all positive but nothing shows in the sonogram. Why is this?

Various reasons: You may be too early to show up on the ultrasound. If you are less than 5 weeks since your last period the sono might not show anything. If you have had any spotting then an early pregnancy may have been lost. If no bleeding and the blood HCG is over 1000 miu and still nothing in the uterus on sono, the possibility of an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy needs to be considered. Talk to your doctor. ...Read more

I took a pregnancy test at the dr office that came up a faint positive and two home tests since then that said negative. What should I do?

I took a pregnancy test at the dr office that came up a faint positive and two home tests since then that said negative. What should I do?

Defer to Doctor: Your doctor would have put in place a plan for your pregnancy if you were positive at the doctor's office. Blood tests would have been ordered and follow up visits scheduled. So, your scenario of being sent home and then continuing to do urine home pregnancy tests makes absolutely no sense. I think i would defer to the doctor who you are seeing in real person as to what to do next. ...Read more
