See a Provider: You need to find out if you have an ovarian cyst or an ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy outside the uterus). See aProvider soon.
A healthy pregnancy needs good nutrition, rest, and a lack of harmful drugs including tobacco. Make sure you take your prenatal vitamins as the Folic acid is important in preventing miscarriage and birth defects. ...Read more

I'm 4 weeks pregnant, I have pain when pushing down on lower right part of abdomen, what can it be?

Tough to say: At 4 weeks gestation the likelihood that the discomfort is due to the pregnancy is small. It could be muscular esp. If reproducible. Sometimes women can have fibroids and not experience discomfort until pregnancy. The two most concerning possibilities are appendicitis and ectopic. Both conditions require evaluation by a doctor--pursue f/u if pain persists or worsens. ...Read more

Can sore lower abdomen be a symptom of pregnancy? I am four days late. And I would assume if I am id only be one week. To soon to test?

Can I be pregnant?: It is impossible to give you any valid answer for your life. You failed to mention when you ovulate in your cycle and where you were in this cycle when you had sexual exposure to fresh semen.

But, in general, if a period is delayed it is time to test. This is usually more than fourteen days after ovulation and thus plenty of time for an impregnated fetus to implant and be growing in the uterus. ...Read more

My lower abdomen is growing at an alarming rate & has been bloating for about three weeks. Four pregnancy tests, all have been negative. What's wrong?

Difficult to say: Without being able to properly examine you. A sensation of bloating or crampiness is commonly associated with constipation or excess gas production in your gut. Increasing the amount of fiber and water in your diet is a good way to combat constipation. Medicines such as docusate, simethicone and senna sometimes help with constipation. ...Read more

I'm 18 weeks pregnant I am experiencing tightness in my lower abdomen. This has been happening for the past four days. Is this a contraction?

18 week 'tightening': Between 16 and 20 weeks your baby and your uterus are growing at a tremendous rate and are gaining a lot of weight. This causes more pressure on the ligaments (called 'round' ligaments) that hold up your uterus. It is very common to get a sensation of discomfort, tightness, or actual pain between 16 and 20 weeks. You can take either tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for this. ...Read more

Had sex four days after my period my period last 7 days the condom broke nd I have been having mild cramping in my lower abdomen could I be pregnan?

Unlikely: If I am interpreting your question correctly, the condom broke about day 11 of your menstrual cycle. Assuming you have an approximate 28 day cycle, you would not be expected to ovulate by then. Cramping likely not due to pregnancy. Take some naproxen or ibuprofen for a couple of days. I expect your period on time; if not, do pregnancy test a week later. Good wishes:) ...Read more
