Thick: Depends on how thick? Also it depends on your symptoms. Biggest concern would be uterine cancer which can be screened with an endometrial biopsy in your doctors office or OB/gyn. Ask your provider if that is necessary. ...Read more

Not enough info ...: The myometrium is the muscular wall of the uterus so most or all of the fibroid is in the wall. Posterior means the back wall of your uterus as opposed to the front. A fibroid in the myometrium may be completely within the wall (intramural) or project into the inside cavity of the uterus (submucosal) or it may be just under the outer covering of the uterus (subserosal).
