Hard to say: Have you had a colonoscopy? It is hard to say what the spot on your liver is without looking at your films... This could be a simple cyst, but if it is new, it could be a colon cancer (or other kind of tumor). You need a proper exam, including a colonoscopy if you haven't had one yet. If that is negative, it may require a biopsy. Read more

Since you did not say this was an x-ray or provide a reason her kidney was studied, this is all to confusing to comment on. You are welcome to get more information together and re-submit it. Ultrasound found a spot on kidney could it be cancer?

Ultrasound found a spot on kidney could it be cancer?

Yes: Ultrasound is a very good initial screening test for the kidneys. It can help identify kidney stones, obstruction of the kidneys, and tumors. If the ultrasound is questionable or clearly abnormal, a more specific imaging study is required such as a ct scan or MRI of the kidneys for further evaluation. Lesions seen ultrasound do not necessarily indicate cancer but further testing is warranted. Read more

Can an ultrasound tell if spot in kidney is a tumor?

Solid or cystic: Ultrasound can tell if a lesion in the kidney is solid or cystic. A simple, uncomplicated cyst is usually nothing to worry about, and therefore no further workup would be needed. However, an ultrasound cannot tell if a solid mass is benign or malignant, so if the lesion is solid, further evaluation would be necessary. Read more

See below: Most "spots" on kidneys are cysts which are generally benign. It would be important to know how long it was stable. Ie was it 4 months or 4 years? We see more kidneys with spots than without in people of your age so it's probably nothing to worry about, but would still follow your docs recommendations.
