Peripheral cyanosis (blue hands, feet, lips, etc.) merely reflects sluggish blood flow through these peripheral capillaries. Very common in cold children, & not dangerous. ...Read more

Unknown: Dha is an omega-3 fatty acid important for developing babies and children, so it is good to have some dha intake, either from breastmilk, formula, and/or foods. If it is very bothersome I would suggest you check it out by your primary doc - if all ok - u will have to live with it, or consider moving south. ...Read more

Acrocyanosis: Being cold causes vasoconstriction (tightening down) of the blood vessels in the periphery. This is called acrocyanosis. Hands and feet (and lips too) turning blue is usually from this and rarely a sign of heart disease, but you can check the tongue and inside of the mouth -- if these parts are pink when the hands/feet/lips are blue, then it is unlikely to be related to the heart. ...Read more
