Yes and no: The negative pelvic ultrasound examination is a good news. The most important piece is risk factors. What risk factors do you have. Any family member with history of ovarian or breast cancer. Any history of gene mutation like brca? If you do not have any significant risks facto, you do not need to have screening for ovarian cancer

Back pain&ovarianCA: Ovarian ca is the silent ca. It is hard to diagnosis and it can be easily confused with other problems. Frequent urination, some pelvic pain & soreness right side, little nausea. Back pain but can't fully contribute as symptom. Scared of ovarian cancer?

Frequent urination, some pelvic pain & soreness right side, little nausea. Back pain but can't fully contribute as symptom. Scared of ovarian cancer?

Uti: The sudden onset would make me worry less about ovarian cancer but rather a UTI which by virtue of the pain and nausea, would make me worry about pyelonephritis although you did not say anything about fever. Go get evaluated and that should be the best way and the best thing for you.

Ibs or ovarian cancer pelvic & back pain pee allot gas indigestion very very bad bloating doctor did no tests gave me fibre and said IBS I'm 23?

You mean obesity?: At 23 ovarian cancer is rare, if that is in your mind go for follow up, request for pelvic sonogram, mean while don't eat junk food, cut calories, eat healthy diet, and join a gym, and exercises regularly to loose 1 lb of fat you need to burn 3500 cal now calculate how much fat you want to burn. Mile brisk walk you spent only 100 cal.

I have ovarian cancer, I had surgery and chemo. It was only clear for a month and came back. What happens now, doctors say the can't cure it?

Assemble your team: Getting such bad news has to be overwhelming. There is always hope. You should get your team (family, doctors, friends, clergy, etc) and set goals that are realistic and achievable. Work toward these goals, changing them when necessary as you travel on your journey.

In stage 4 ovarian cancer, what does it usually mean if your ca-125 goes from 600 to 222 then back up to 350?

Some response: If therapies are changed we look at the ca125 levels to guide the choice of chemotherapy. This would be compatible with a temporary response to type of therapy.
