Early PWB?: Not sure if i read that correctly, but it's only been less than 2 weeks after an ankle orif and you are pwb in a boot? If you're having pain in the knee, the boot may be off setting your balance and your hip might be next. Tough to answer: The majority of tibial plateau fractures do not involve the lateral ligamentous structures. In general, the lateral structures (fibular collateral, popliteofibular, popliteus, etc) require surgery to repair or reconstruct.
