What Does It Mean When Your Right Hand Twitches
Watch and wait:
As long as the issue is not debilitating, you may just watch and wait. If it does not get better in a week or two, you should consult a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. ...Read more
Had Facial tingling and now twitching in my right hand with some heaviness... MRI was normal. What could it be?
Can't rule out..: I'm not sure how old you are or if you have risk factors, but I'm not sure you could rule out a transient ischemic attack, or "mini stroke." These typically do not show up on imaging. Risk factors include high cholesterol, atherosclerotic disease, and high blood pressure. Talk to your doctor about it in more detail. ...Read more

Hi for over a week now my finger next to my thumb on my right hand keeps on twitching like a jerking movement like it tightens and spasms. Age 35?
Spasm: Many possible causes. If it's just that one finger, you may be developing a trigger finger which may be able to be cured or significantly helped by a properly placed steroid injection. If you are having spasms in other muscles in your body, other potential causes may be an electrolyte imbalance (potassium, calcium) or the onset of a neurological disorder, so see a doctor. ...Read more

Hello. Today I've Been noticing this spasm/constant twitch in my right hand that is causing my thumb to move. It's really irritating me and I would like for it to stop. Any advice? Should I ice it, massage it anything to make it stop please and thanks
Usually benign: It's hard to make an exact diagnosis based purely on description but several things come to mind. Usually, this is benign & self limited (meaning it'll go away on its own). But, if not then, it merits workup by a neurologist so tests can be run. Diagnoses such as dystonia, metabolic imbalances, & even epilepsy are possible. Write me for a consult if you'd like: www. Right hand pinky twitches when my hand is still I can control it just wondering what it might be. My diet is bad no multivitamin ideas? Thank you
The most likely: Explanation is pressure or inflammation of the nerve that provides movement and feeling to the pinky finger. Pressure anywhere along the path of the nerve (neck, elbow or wrist most commonly) can cause it. Altho I always recommend a healthy diet, it's unlikely that a poor diet is causing this and unlikely that taking a multivitamin would fix it. Hope this helps. Dr. Anne ...Read more

What does it mean if you had a Jamar dynamometer test done and you're right hand dominant, and the readings are right, 14, 12, 10 & left 24, 28, 22?
Hand numbness: It may be compression of a nerve that innvervates the hand muscles, such as of the median, ulnar, or radial nerves. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an example. However, your doctor will need to examine you to make a more accurate diagnosis since the nerves innervate different muscles of the hand. Then a treatment plan can be made. ...Read more
