What Does It Mean When Your Heart Rate Is High
Cva: That description is suspicious for stroke, should get seen asap to see what is going on.
My blood pressure is normal but my heart rate is high. What does that mean & what kind if doc do I need to see. I do feel dizzy all the time?
Maybe need activity: How high matters, but it may be a question of getting more activity/exercise into your daily routine. It would be something a family doctor/gp can consider and only refer you to a heart specialist if needed. The dizziness may be related and might help diagnose the problem. Ask questions until you understand the answers. Consider taking notes so the next doctor will get a clear idea. Best!
Deconditioned: There are things which can cause the hr to go up such as the thyroid and the heart itself. At your age, and if you have not bee diagnosed with anything it is most likely deconditioned state. Reconditioning may mean to advance activities a little bit slower. Start with rapid walks for several days, then advance to next more rigorous exercise after and do the same stepwise.
My wife uses a fitbit band and found heart rate bpm is very high over 100 whole last week. What does it mean by? Thank you for your answer in advance.
Fit Bitch watch: I call this a Fit Bitch watch as my wife has one and drives me crazy trying to get me to walk faster or more etc. Her sister has one that records 2 x more steps and drives her nuts. But the first issue is it working and counting the pulse correctly. So I would count her pulse by feeling at radial artery and counting for one min. There is actually an app to help you count the pulse.
How correlates BP and heart rate? Why for me high BP (145-95) and low hr (58-62)? What means that? When is high BP accomploshed with low hr?
BP and HR: Generally, the two are independent. People in shock will have a rapid hr to compensate for their abnormally low bp. Your hrs are normal. Your BP is borderline high. You do not list any medicines that are slowing your hr. The treatment for an abnormally slow hr with symptoms (like passing out) is a pacemaker - you don't describe anything that sounds like you need that.
Depends on the cause: Hearts beat fast, generally, for a reason. Do you have fever? Anemia? Infection? Pain? Upset? Bleeding? Stress? Caffeine use? Are you overweight, out of shape, de-conditioned? These and many more reasons may be the cause. Unless your hr is >150, it's likely that the rate is a symptom and not the cause of changes in your health.
What does it mean if my heart rate was really high during exercise and stays at 110 over an hour and a half after exercise? Is it anxiety?
LargestPossibilities: =anxiety/fear/pain &/or congestive heart failure. Heart rate controlled by brain. Like rest of body, heart follows orders from brain (many cycles/second). Sensors from heart, blood vessels, rest of body provide extensive feedback to brain: a complex Soul? Mind? Brain? Body integrated system which allows life, despite only partially understood. Health: It means that you're healthy, normal, and physically fit.
What does it mean if a patient has a goiter associated with high plasma levels of both trh and tsh. Heart rate is elevated?
When tracking blood pressure, is the "mean" value the important part? I usually have a high systolic and low diastolic like 134/68 and heart rate 48.
Mostly systolic: The systolic pressure (upper number) is best understood in terms of what is normal and the relationship between BP and risk of stroke and heart disease. The diastolic pressure (lower number) seems to vary a lot depending on how the BP is measured (with a stethoscope or with an electronic BP cuff). The mean BP is rarely used outside the intensive care unit or the operating room.See 2 more doctor answers

Does a fast heart rate or pulse measured say on my neck with my fingers usually mean that my blood pressure is higher/high?
I'm currently not taking any medications. I wake up and my heart rate is high 90's to low 100's everyday. Should this be a concern?
It may be, but: You have provided so little information that it would be difficult to guess, at 45 years old you should probably discuss this with your doctor.
