What does it mean when u see white silky stuff coming of my vaginal area?

Likely normal: Some mild white vaginal discharge is normal, and is likely due to the body responding to hormones. If the discharge ever becomes excessive, foul-smelling, cottage cheese-like, or associated with itching or discomfort, you should see your doc for an eval and exam.

After getting an condoscopy in the vaginal area. If the dr wants to see you 2weeks after to discuss results does it mean they've found something?

After getting an condoscopy in the vaginal area. If the dr wants to see you 2weeks after to discuss results does it mean they've found something?

Not Necessarily: Not necessarily. A lot of physicians like to bring the patient back to discuss results in person in order to make sure the patient fully understand what the results mean. I am assuming that you meant that you had a colposcopy done to evaluate an abnormal pap. I would not make any assumptions that anything is wrong. Even if something was found, it doesn't mean it's life threatening.

If vaginal stuff has no odor at all, does that mean there's no STD there?

If vaginal stuff has no odor at all, does that mean there's no STD there?

No: Many women with an std will have little or no symptoms, most will not have symptoms with hpv, herpes, and chlamydia. There can be symptoms of discharge, pain, or irritation with any std, but nothing is 100%. If you have been exposed, see you doctor for testing to be safe.

How do I know if I have an vaginal discharged or do you know what I got. I am sexually active. My underwear sometimes is wet and I see white stuff coming out.

How do I know if I have an vaginal discharged or do you know what I got. I am sexually active. My underwear sometimes is wet and I see white stuff coming out.

All: All women have vaginal secretions. It is normal to have clear or white secretions that do not have an odor. If you have pain, irritation, buring with urination, malodorous secretions, different colored discharge - that could be more of a cause for concern. Ok, with that said - if you are sexually active and you are not using protection that is a problem. If your partner has a sexually transmitted disease it could be spread to you. Some std's are "silent" which means you may not know you have the std. Your health is precious - be careful with it.

I have never had sex. When I look at my vagina inside of the Vaginal opening (hole) I see white stuff inside help please?

I have never had sex. When I look at my vagina inside of the Vaginal opening (hole) I see white stuff inside help please?

Normal discharge: Normal vaginal discharge can appear white and creamy or watery. It is typically not foul-smelling. Too much discharge could me bacterial vaginosis (overgrowth of the normal bacteria in the vagina) or a yeast infection. Both of these are easily treatable, very common and not dangerous.

Apprx. 4 weeks and I went for vaginal ultrasound yesterday but they didn't see anything other than thickened uterine wall what could this mean?

Apprx. 4 weeks and I went for vaginal ultrasound yesterday but they didn't see anything other than thickened uterine wall what could this mean?

Probably normal: 4 weeks is usually not quite far enough along to see anything with ultrasound, even with the vaginal transducer. If there is an intrauterine pregnancy, the first thing to show up will be a gestational sac, which usually becomes visible by 4.5 - 5 weeks. Be patient and don't worry at this point.

Normal Secretions: Yes, vaginas are self cleaning. You just have to make sure of a couple of things. If the secretions are relatively scant, or no more than what you notice previously. If it is truly white or an off white color, and is odorless. If you don't have frequent urination or burning with urination. If your answer to all of his is yes, then it is normal. If not, please be checked by your local doctor.

My ovulation day on 9 or 10th. Today is 6th now my vaginal area is dry.2days before white sticky odourless fluid came. Drynes means will not ovulate?

Ovulation?: There may be several types of vaginal discharge accompanying ovulation, or there may simply be menstrual irregularities that have no underlying serious condition to be addressed. Dryness does not necessarily mean you are not ovulating. Discuss this with your gynecologist if and when you need to see one. Good luck.

Those: Those symptoms are concerning for infection. A change in the normal discharge with a color to it can represent an infection. Your friend should be medically evaluated. If she develops pain, fever, or vomiting then she should be seen right away.
