My back bone disk has bulged out causing left leg pain. What is its cure?

My back bone disk has bulged out causing left leg pain. What is its cure?

Unpinch the nerve.: Sounds like you have a disk herniation. As long as the pain is tolerable, and you do not have progressive increasing weakness, or lose the ability to control the bladder or bowels, the vast majority of disk herniations can be treated without surgery. I recommend you get a good exam by a spine specialist, then follow instructions on use of medications, stretchs and activities modifications. ...Read more

Maybe need more Gaba: Gabapentin is a good drug for nerve pain--but you are taking a pretty small dose. I recommend a high enough dose during the day to relieve your pain, but not get sleepy. At night, a higher dose can be used. Gabapentin is a great sleep-inducer. It enhances slow wave sleep. Usual dose is 600-800 mg at night--but often need to go much higher.
