Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine).... Aka: Hydroxychloroquine basically has two uses, (1) immune modulation in autoimmune disorders like ra, and (2) malaria prophylaxis. Not sure why you are taking it, but one of its side effects is hemolytic anemia in the setting of g6pd deficiency.
