Blighted ovum : Unfortunately , if sonogram does not show fetal pole means no embryo inside, ( no fetus ) also called blighted ovum , if repeat test also shows no fetal pole you will have miscarriage , speak to your OB doctor , some times it is natures protective mechanism , for malformed embryo .
