What Does It Mean If I Ovulate Too Much
I have regular 28d cycle I don't feel as much pain as I feel before 1 and 2 day is tht mean I'm not ovulating what is the best way to know if I ovulat?
Ovulation: Its the process of releasing an egg (or two) from the ovary. After ovulation, the space where the egg came from forms a cyst, called the corpus luteal cyst, which starts making Progesterone to help get the uterus ready for a pregnancy. Once the egg comes out, it will only last an hour or two, so for fertilization (and pregnancy) to occur, it has to fall into a pool of sperm.
You: Are probably ovulating. Remember that there is a 15 percent chance of conception with each cycle.
Ovulation: Nope. That is a meaningless sign to count on. If you are having monthly periods you are ovulating.
Stop testing: It is normal for ovulation kits to stay normal for several days then become negative. There is no need to check beyond the initial positive result. The hormonal rise that causes the positive result lingers for a few days which will keep an ovulation test positive. Once it is positive then you should begin having intercourse daily.See 1 more doctor answer
No need to repeat: You stop doing ovulation kits after it turns positive because it will stay positive for awhile. The hormone it detects lingers for a few days. If you are having regular periods and your ovulation tests show you are ovulating there is simply no value or utility in doing more tests.
No need to repeat: You stop doing ovulation kits after it turns positive because it will stay positive for awhile. If you are having regular periods and your ovulation tests show you are ovulating there is simply no value or utility in doing more tests. Why the urgency to get pregnant at age 19? Consider focusing on your career and education at this once in a life time point in your life.
No significance: The darkness of the line is irrelevant.
Not necessarily: Occasionally once or twice a year a woman may have a dysfunctional ovulation. If this is more of a chronic issue of not ovulating then follow up with a reproductive endocrinologist would be very helpful in helping you conceive.
Ovulation: Generally ovulation occurs once per cycle. Are you sure you read the test correctly?
Its positive: Ovulation test determine the concentration of lh in the urine which is a sign of ovulation. In the morning the urine is concentrated an more likely to be positive. After a day of consuming fluids the urine becomes dilute and can be negative at night. Most ovulation kits can only test lh when its above a concentration of 20miu/ml.
Ovulation problem: A negative opk when correct means you either did not ovulate are did not ovulate when expected.
3 possibilities: A single lh value must be taken in context of your age, history, and where you are in your cycle. If you have polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos), this level could be present at any time. Likewise, this can be true in the perimenopause (yes, a possibility even at your age). Most likely, however, this indicates the midcycle surge that triggers ovulation in the next 24 to 36 hours.
Not sure: I am not sure of your question. It needs to be re-phrased.
