Please resubmit?: Here is a better suggestion. It is not going to get you very far for us to teach you how to feel or what you 'should be' experiencing. When asking doctor's questions you will get much further if you share your specific situation or feelings or symptoms. Let the doctor then put this together for you with something valid. Asking for generalities will only get you generalities back. Read more

A little early: At ten weeks the fetus is very small and still below the pubic bone. More likely the bloating is due to gas which is common from the elevated Progesterone levels that occur in pregnancy. Read more

Indigestion: You're having indigestion - the food didn't get digested well by your stomach and is probably either sitting in it or is staying in your intestines and is slowing digesting. This happens occasionally. If you have no nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, I recommend you avoid fried, fat rich foods like the ones you ate and drink fluids to "flush" your GI tract. One it's been reset, you can return to normal. Read more

Your family doc can check for this by ordering a few blood tests such as anti-endomysium and anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies. Sometimes endoscopy w/biopsy or pill camera is used to make the diagnosis. Search online for gluten-free diet. Need to be strict. Read more

I feel really bloated, like I'm going to be sick even though I haven't eaten in over 12 hours. What could be wrong with my digestion?

Not digestion: It is the control mechanisms in the lower brain at fault. There is a 3-way messenger system in the body--brain to body, body to body and body to brain. This requires a lot of cellular energy derived from a healthy god made food diet without all the high calorie "junk" that literally "chokes" cellular engines. These symptoms are affecting millions and nobody is telling them to wise up on diet. Read more

If: If you are bloating to the point where you appear pregnant and are experiencing drastic weight changes with fatigue, it is prudent to see your doctor to investigate this. Also, think back at your dietary intake. If you eat a diet that is high in sodium, this causes water retention. See your doctor about healthy life styles, investigate this fatigue/weight fluctuation and bloating. Signs may point to a medical issue related to your liver or kidney function. Read more
