Can you tell me what can this mean when your blood work tests show negative for RA but still shows inflammation?
Is it possible to have gastritis and low white blood count? I've always thought inflammation in the body means higher white cells counts...
Really not related: The two things may not be related. Also, the body reacts differently whether we have a viral illness (can have low white count) vs. A bacterial one (can have a higher count). Some inflammation in the body may not do anything to your white count. Please see your doctor if you are having any symptoms or worries. ...Read more
There was a lot of inflammation in the results of my blood work, I am not 100% sure what it means am also anemic dr billed insurance code 290?
Inflammation, anemia: Inflammartion is a complex biological process involving vascular tissue in response to harmful stimuli. It can occur without infection such as ra, sle, etc. Blood c-reactive protein can reflect the presence of inflammation. Inflammation causes an increase in a liver protein called hepcidin which then hamper iron absoption and utilization, thus resulting in anemia (anemia of chronic inflammation). ...Read more

What does it mean if a 6 y/o child has elevated white blood cell count and his inflammation marker is high?
Viral vs bacterial: Not too infrequently, children present with fever without clear source. We have utilized white cell count and inflammation markers, e.g., sed rate or CRP to distinguish viral vs bacterial infection. Elevated white blood cell and high inflammation marker suggest the likelihood of bacterial infection. ...Read more

What could be wrong if my inflammation markers are high. I've had like 3 different sets of blood work done & they've been high each time.
Injury, infection &: Your body can get inflamed due to injury, infection and/or allergies. Inflammatory markers tell us there's a needle in the haystack but they don't tell us where. So it's our job to question you regarding the possible causes. If you can't think of any, then we worry about an increase risk of heart disease. But since you're young, ask your doc why s/he ordered them in first place. Could be just gum. ...Read more

Not related: It's unlikely that the pain in your ovaries is related to your constipation. Constipation is easy to fix, drink a lot of water, increase amount of fiber in diet, and if need be, take a medication like MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) to help. Inflammation of ovaries, or endometriosis, can also be source of pain. Most typically causes loose stools, not constipation. Spotting at day 20, could be hormonal. ...Read more

Need more info:
All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it is not clear what is 62%. It may have helped to have all the results, however, it would be better to talk to your doctor who knows more about your health.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually.
