Has it resolved?: Many characteristics of lymph nodes can help separate benign from malignant on ct. Size is one, but configuration or shape is another. The best way to know something as benign is for it to resolve on its own. If you still have this swollen lymph node, see your doctor for further evaluation. ...Read more

How big?: A cancerous lymph node is obviously abnormal. Almost all other nodes are your friends. If you are advised to leave it alone, do so. There is no explaining why different people get big nodes in different places. ...Read more

If the nodes become larger or additional nodes become larger, it would be prudent to address the issue with your doctor again. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats.
