My urinalysis indicate that erythrocytes is 2+, mucos thread, bacteria and epithelial cell moderate and rbc 4-6, wbc 4-8. What does it means?
Results from urine sample show really high leucocytes and epithelial cells in urine. Also high erythrocytes. What could this be? No bacteria present.
Might still be a UTI: Gram +ve organisms tike staphloccus, stretococcus,& enterococcus are all nitrite negative & thus urine dipstick can show as -ve for bacteria, yet you can still have a UTI, Urine needs 2B cultured to rule out a UTI in presence of so many leucocytes, Another explanation could be Mixture of introital smegma + some menstrual flow. Hematuria: 8-10 red blood cells mean microscopic hematuria.It is only seen under microscope. The normal rbcs should be less than 5. Need more info: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have helped to have the actual report from the lab. A few lymphocytes is not a cause for concern. You should discuss the results with the doctor who ordered the test. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats.
