Probably not problem: Color and consistency of bowel movements is largely dependent on diet. Consumption of iron tablets makes BM's darker. It's also possible the jerky contributed to the different color. Watch what happens over the next few days. Blood in stool is usually maroon or bright red. Seek medical attention if this occurs.
