What Does Citric Acid Do For The Body
How to know if my digestive system works properly? I mean does it save essential vitamins for my body? And what are the symptoms if it does not?
Stable weight is ok: If you are not losing weight quickly then your digestive system is probably fine. Vitamin deficiency is rare if you are eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. Those symptoms are highly variable and would need labs to test to confirm. ...Read more
How can I reduce the amount of linoeic acid I consume to a good level? Doesn't virtually everything have linoeic acid in it?
Eat differently: John, the total amount of linoleic acid is not so important. It is an essential fatty acid, so you must eat some of it. What is really important is the ratio of it to other fats. Linoleic acid is an omega 6, commonly found in corn oil and other processed oils. Eat less processed foods, and swap corn oil for flax oil (high in Omega 3). You want a 2:1 Omega 6: Omega 3 ratio. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Science fantasy: You can't stop glycolysis. If the pyruvate's in your blood, it won't affect glycolysis. If it's in the cells, you can't measure it. Nothing you can do short of taking a godawful poison will inhibit glycolysis. You don't have "high concentrations of hydrogen" if you're typing -- that would be lethal acidosis. If somebody's told you this to frighten you, ignore them. Enjoy being alive. ...Read more
