Hard to say : Hernia can be hard to diagnosed at home. Burning usually goes w nerve type pain or ulcer. If it is a hernia, it tends to get bigger and needs to b fixed but u will have to c a physician to make the diagnosis. ...Read more

I have a hiatal hernia that flared real bad burning pain between shoulders and feels like my esophagus is on fire vomiting yesterday is this normal?

No: It sounds like your hiatal hernia is contributing to severe reflux disease (gerd) that requires treatment. You need to at least have medical treatment with a prevacid-type pill, and possibly surgery to correct the hernia (laparoscopic nissen fundoplication). I have a sharp burning pain to the left and down from my belly button. Had an ultrasound came back as no hernia but the pains still there when i run?

Clinical diagnosis: Hernias are diagnosed by physical examination. Any type of imaging, whether ultrasound, ct scan, or MRI is unreliable and often will not detect a hernia unless there is something stuck in it (i.e., "incarcerated"). So you may still have a hernia despite the ultrasound being negative. If you are concerned with a hernia, consult a board certified general surgeon. ...Read more

Bloody urine most times. Ct/ cystoscope, no tumor/stone, saw poss block from"renal pap necr". Burning pain when lifting above genitals. Poss hernia?

Possible: Hernias howeve are also typically associated with a lump in the groin, not necessarily in the middle. Could also be a musculoskeletal cause such as muscle strain. Would probably need a physical exam specifically for hernia to find out. ...Read more
