"urinalysis showed trace of blood and large amount of leukocytes. Take another test" What does that mean?
A ua is a urinalysis, or chemical and microscopic analysis of the urine. The standard urinalysis is performed with a dipstick test for ph, blood, protein, sugar, and ketones. Clarification needed: Urinalysis typically measures urine acidity (ph), specific gravity, protein, glucose, ketones, bilirubin, nitrates/esterase (indicator for infection), and hemoglobin (indicator of red cells). The values for these tests do not match up with your question, the only thing I can think of that matches up numerically on dipstick is protein (mg/dl) or glucose (mg/dl). Please clarify. ...Read more
What does "pi" stand for on a urinalysis? And what does it mean when it is "high"? Urinalysis shows it as 5-10 when normal is 0-3

Urine pH is also reported but normal range is 5 to 7. Shedding these cells is not particularly worrisome, but interpretation requires a reading of what else is in the urine and if an illness is apparent. Suggest repeat and discussion ...Read more
