Heartbeat: Seeing the heartbeat greatly proves the odds that pregnancy will not miscarry. I haven't heard of someone saying the sac was 'cloudy' before. Sac size --inform differs from your lmp -- is okay. Just means you ovulated at different time. I would ask for another ultrasound in 2-3 weeks if you're worried, but also know that good heartbeat means a lot. ...Read more

Conflicting: If you conceived from your lmp in august you should be around 8 weeks - but you can guaranteed see a gestational sac in a normal pregnancy at 8 weeks. Otoh if your last ovulation (how do you know 9/20 if your last period was 8/17?) was 9/20, it might still be early to see a sac. Then of course you are not at 8 weeks. ...Read more
