Nothing: Labs mean nothing whatever in the absence of a clinical history and physical exam. Especially, relative percentages of lymphocytes and granulocytes is junk data that, frankly, I wish the labs wouldn't even report. The absolute counts of both lymps and monocytes fluctuate wildly hour by hour, and i'd draw no conclusion. I hope some other finding will reveal the true cause of your chronic fatigue. ...Read more

Until you have your tests done, there's not much I can suggest without more history data. ...Read more
Just got blood test results. My reticulocyte count was fine, but the "immature fraction" was high (0.19). What does this mean? Should I be concerned?
Anemia?: Reticulocyte count, corrected reticulocyte count, and reticulocyte production index are used to measure whether the bone marrow is responding adequately to the destruction of red blood cells in a hemolytic anemia. In severe anemia, reticulocyte maturation time is prolonged and considered in calculations, due to the bone marrow releasing immature forms. If you are not anemic, I wouldn't worry. ...Read more

When reading blood test results, what does the term "absolute" mean when in front of "white blood cell count"?
