How will i know what does a swollen lymph node on the neck mean?

They can swell in response to infection, or cancer, or nonspecific inflammation. I suspect yours is from a viral infection. Your physician can help clarify this for you. ...Read more

Has it resolved?: Many characteristics of lymph nodes can help separate benign from malignant on ct. Size is one, but configuration or shape is another. Likely: If the lymph node enlargement is due to infection, these will subside. If the nodes become larger or additional nodes become larger, it would be prudent to address the issue with your doctor again. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more

Could having eaten mouldy bread cause a swollen lymph node in the neck?

Not likely: A swollen lymph gland in the neck would not be related to ingested food, but would be secondarily caused by infection/inflammation somewhere in that region as a rule. Keep learning about your body -- there are still surprises waiting. ...Read more
