What does a question mark mean on a first response yes or no pregnancy test?

What does a question mark mean on a first response yes or no pregnancy test?

Not enough Hormone: The test relies on the presence of a pregnasncy hormone to be positive. If ther is a question, then there is not enough hormone to be sure. Wait 1 week, and test a first morning urine specimen, or have a lab do a serum pregnancy test.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

I used a first response digital pregnancy test and a question mark showed up as a result. Why didn't it just show up negative?

I used a first response digital pregnancy test and a question mark showed up as a result. Why didn't it just show up negative?

Need to repeat: There is some HCG but not enough to be diagnostic of pregnancy. Please repeat the test in 4-5 days, unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

Can you get positives on cheap pregnancy test, and then get negative on first response, what does it mean if you do?

Can you get positives on cheap pregnancy test, and then get negative on first response, what does it mean if you do?

Home tests accurate: In the United States home urine tests are all quite accurate. False positives are extremely rare and due to specific medical conditions. But the test needs to be read at the 3 minute mark. If the test is left sitting and read later, it will be falsely positive. If the tests were read at the correct time, it may mean that there was a very early miscarriage of sorts.

I got a? on a first response pregnancy test. Does that mean there is still hcg present but not enough for a positive result?

I got a? on a first response pregnancy test. Does that mean there is still hcg present but not enough for a positive result?

Mommy, AreWeThereYet?: Maybe it means that you are pregnant and the baby has a question for you. Or, according to their instructions, it means there was an error in the test and that they want you to do the test again. Tests of various kinds often have to be repeated for that reason, a glitch in the mechanics of the test, or a faulty sample. But I kinda like the first idea. Think about what questions your baby might ask you

Can a first response pregnancy test be wrong sometimes?

FIRST RESPONSE Early: Esult pregnancy test is reported to detect HCG up to 6 days prior to your anticipated period. If your HCG level is not high enough - then you will not get a + result (even though you may be pregnant). In that situation you can repeat in a week using your first morning void. Take care.

Just took a first response pregnancy test still negative what to do now?

Just took a first response pregnancy test still negative what to do now?

Repeat or see OB: If you have sx of pregnancy (nausea, breast tenderness, missed menses, fatigue, etc) repeat the test in a couple of days. Don't spend a fortune on tests, dollar store tests can be accurate but you get what you pay for (ie-not the most reliable...). If you want confirmation, see your doc or OB & get your morning urine checked since it's usually more concentrated & easier to see positive results.

Does it matter what time you take a first response pregnancy test or should you wait until morning?

Does it matter what time you take a first response pregnancy test or should you wait until morning?

Home Pregnancy: Tests are best done with the first morning urine as it is more concentrated and is more likely to have a higher concentration of HCG. That being said, you could take the test anytime. If it is positive, yippee. If negative, then recheck with first morning.

How accurate are pregnancy test Clearblue were not working first response says I'm not but I feel like I am?

How accurate are pregnancy test Clearblue were not working first response says I'm not but I feel like I am?

Misinformed?: Until one misses a period any symptoms before are not likely to be caused by pregnancy. Since you did not share what your specific symptoms are we cannot comment further. But, most females are often misinterpreting symptoms and labeling them 'pregnancy' when they are not.

Confidence: On the day that you would expect your period by urine pregnancy test can be over 90% predictive of whether or not you are pregnant. However, keep in mind these tests are not perfect. It is always good to get a second opinion from a primary care provider if you continue to have doubts for further testing.
