I know a pregnant cervix feels like puckerd lips. All I can feel is swollen tissue, how can I tell if im dilating? What else should I feel for?
Not a good idea!: Unless a woman has lots of experience examining cervixes, she should not be poking around trying to figure out if she is dilating. This is especially true if she is not going to deliver today or this week.
