Can I trust a negative clear blue pregnancy test 47 days after intercourse? Had 2 light periods but I have back pain and pain in ovaries

Can I trust a negative clear blue pregnancy test 47 days after intercourse? Had 2 light periods but I have back pain and pain in ovaries

Pregnancy: It is unlikely that you are pregnant. A repeat test should give you reassurance. A sexually transmitted disease/infection could cause persistent pain in the back and ovaries. See your gynecologist for an examination.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Can I get a negative pregnancy test (clear blue) three days before expected period and still be pregnant.

Can I get a negative pregnancy test (clear blue) three days before expected period and still be pregnant.

Yes: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period.

Had a d&c 7 weeks ago, got a negative pregnancy test 11 days after, got 1st period lasting 4 days 12 days ago, but am now getting 5 positive tests clear blue says 2-3 weeks since conception? Confused

See your Doc: One of two possibilities. One is you are pregnant again, second is that the D&C did not completely remove all the tissue in the uterus that gives you a positive pregnancy test. See you ob/gyn asap.

Why does a clear blue pregnancy test say positive but a dollar test like the ones at the doctor's all say negative?

Why does a clear blue pregnancy test say positive but a dollar test like the ones at the doctor's all say negative?

Get Blood test: If the urine tests are not conclusive, please see your doctor for a blood level of HCG, A level above 25 indicates pregnancy. Level below 5, after a missed period = no pregnancy, Between 5 and 25, repeat the test in 4-5 days.

If I took clear blue pregnancy test, but not first urine (just a little bit after) and it was negative, should I trust it?

If I took clear blue pregnancy test, but not first urine (just a little bit after) and it was negative, should I trust it?

Yes, if urine dk yel: You may not be pregnant, or the level of pregnancy hormone may not yet be high enough to be detected, or you may have miscalculated the day your period was due. If you tested early, test again when your period is due. If your period is overdue, test again in 3 days time. If this test gives you a ’Not Pregnant’ result and you still have not had your period, see your doctor.

My clear blue pregnancy test came up negative. Should I get a blood test to make sure?

My clear blue pregnancy test came up negative. Should I get a blood test to make sure?

When did you do it?: If you have been sexually active and have missed your period then you can go ahead and take a home pregnancy test (HPT) now. If negative and still no period would repeat HPT in a week. Take care.

What does a negative pregnancy test look like? Are both lines dark? I took the equate one from walmart (walmart brand) and I was curious if it was a false negative or if it was too early my period isn't due for another 2 weeks

It depends: Each test is different. Most tests show two bars as positive. The package will tell you the best time to take a test. Typically mid void first thing in the morning. The closer to the time of expected next period is best.

Why does a clear blue pregnancy test say positive but a test like the ones at the doctor's all say negative? I am late for my period and been spotting

Technique: Could it be that you did not follow the procedure exactly as recommended by the manufacturer? If you do not read the lines within the prescribed time, the results are not valid. If you have doubt, ask your doctor for blood HCG level. If you missed your period by a 2-3 days and the blood test is negative, pregnancy is unlikely.

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Pregnancy unlikely: If you did not have unprotected sex, you are unlikely to be pregnant. Just to make sure repeat the test in 5-6 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

What are the odds of getting a false negative clear-blue digital pregnancy test at 7 weeks?

What are the odds of getting a false negative clear-blue digital pregnancy test at 7 weeks?

Pregnancy: Your question is confusing. If you know you are 7 weeks pregnant, why test again? If you've missed your period but have not had a + pregnancy test, then I cannot tell you what the odds of the test being negative (clear blue digital). Home pregnancy tests are usually pretty accurate, so if it is repeatedly negative, chances are you are not pregnant.

Taken three answer pregnancy test all faint positive fairly quickly negative clear blue digital with weeks?

Check a blood test: It sounds like there may be a problem with one of your tests. You can ask your MD to do a blood HCG level to see what's going on. Otherwise wait a week and retest. If you are pregnant, the test should be more definitive by then.

Maybe not pregnant: Can retest AFTER 7 more days. A urine preg. Test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant.

Took a pregnancy test last day of spotting, neg, 2 days took another one, positive. A clear thin blue line same color as the other one. Preg?

1 doctor agreed:

Probably: The likely answer is that the first test was too early. If you have a clearly positive test, and you are likely pregnant; if there is still question, you can get a blood test to verify at your doctor's.

I did a pregnancy test this morning using first morning urine and it was positive now I've done a clear blue digital test this afternoon and its neg?

How early: Very early in pregnancy the first morning urine has a higher level of hormone and is more likely to be positive, after a few more days the teat would be positive at any time of day. You should recheck in the morning.

What does a negative pregnancy test usually look like how dark is the test window?

What does a negative pregnancy test usually look like how dark is the test window?

Follow instruction: It's hard to say since different tests have different way to tell you the result. You just need to follow the instruction on the box. If the positive is still light, wait another day and do it again. When in doubt, bring the test to your doc or a pharmacist and they can help interpret the result.
