See your doctor: It sounds like you have a dehiscence of the incision. Call your surgeon or go see a wound care specialist for treatment. You probably can still play but it needs to be seen and then decided on. ...Read more

What to do if I have a reoccuring breast cyst, should I be legitimately concerned?

Should i be concerned about a complex breast cyst?

I would: Make sure to follow up as directed. Cysts of the breast are usually not classified like cysts of the ovaries, simple or complex. Nevertheless, if the docs were suspicous they would order a biopsy or at least additional testing with close follow up. Make sure you follow the recommendations and get clarification from your doc on that report and it's meaning. ...Read more

Unusual: Most benign pathology of breast is related to hormone activity on breast tissue. In early years activity is on breast tissue resulting in fibroadenomas. Over 30 the effect begins on the ductal system producting partial blockage with fluid accumulation leading to cysts. When spontaneous opening in duct occurs the cyst disappears. Most of the time with age fibrocytic disease is commonplace ...Read more

What is the frequency of breast cyst at 20?

Yes: They are more common in women aged 35-50 but can be found at any age. Most breast cysts are benign. The might require drainage if they are painful, large, or just simply if you want to make them go away for piece of mind. Cyst fluid that is bloody is of concern but almost any other color would be of no concern. ...Read more
