Possible: The allergic response consists of the early phase (15-20 mins) and the late phase (2-8 hrs). The skin test reading was for the early phase. The late-phase response, although more important in the disease process, has not been well studied (imagine asking people to wait 8 hrs at the office or return 6-8 hrs later for a study) but my experience tells me that a delayed reaction likely means more. ...Read more
