It's more: likely that what you are taking FOR the pain is giving you GI symptoms although some people are nauseated by certain kinds of pain! (I see Vicodin, Percocet under your Medication list)!!! This may be the problem! Hope this helps! Dr Z ...Read more

Herpes simplex: It would be very unusual to have nerve involvement of the type you are describing due to hsv 2. This sounds as if you have some other issue involving the sacral spine at s1-s2 which would cover the dermatomes you are describing.
