Nodule: Baby is fine as long as the thyroid level is normal. Nodules are common and even when it's a "cold" nodule the risk of cancer is still small as well over 80% of them are still benign. Not bad: a few points. 130 / 80 is probably the perfect blood pressure. Blood pressure trends upward with increaseing age (mainly the upper number). It varies over time and circumstance and seeing either the lowest or seeing all the numbers during a day is best way to judge. ...Read more

Excess iodine will: stimulate the thyroid gland to work harder. if you have not had total ablation, and assuming you have some residual however small synthetic activity in the glands, you will notice an increase in thyroid function with your Synthroid, perhaps mild hyperthyroid symptoms as well.
