I shaved my mons pubis earlier today & now I have a really painful bump down there. I used to always get boils cause my skin was so sensitive.
Careful: Make sure you are using a quality razor and moisturizing shaving gel. Shaving always causes small skin openings that can become infected or the hair can become ingrown as it grows back. Moisturize everyday with good eczema cream and use light dose 1% hydrocortisone if irritated. Moist heat for now and some neosporin. Boils and infections: Most common explanation:you are colonizing Staphylococcus, could be regular Staph or MRSA. After an adequate treatment course of antibiotics you should consider decolonization.
