A few things: Age is a factor here. A young person going thru a growth spurt would have increased caloric needs and if these were not met, weight could be lost. On the other hand, if a person increased their activity level this would also increase caloric needs. This again would lead to weight loss if the the new caloric needs were not met. Fatigue is a non-: specific symptom that may be caused by iron (Fe) deficiency, but pain is not common. Fatigue & cold intolerance are common signs of hypothyroidism, but not anorexia or pain. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can make you sleepy; Pepto-Bismol has lots of salicylate. If neuro exam, EEG & brain MRI are normal, seek evaluation for systemic disorders; if Fe-deficient, why?
