Nope: Breast cancer as of itself will not make her lose her hair but chemo could do it (depending on the type). Also, some patients taking hormonal treatments for breast cancer notice thinning hair but seldom complete hair loss. Supplements : There is a lot of causes of hair loss and some we just don't know. Some like thyroid disorders, nutrition diff.. Etc. If that have been worked up & ahave been excluded, then I observed number of my patients did get a benefit from biotin supplement, although the medical evidence for that is very weak but just in case you want to give it a try.
