Warmth: There may be some nerve irritation in your legs that makes you feel warmth when there is nothing on the skin. Try a cool pack. Sometimes a topical rub such as icyhot, bengay may help. Possibly, over time it will go away. If not improving or getting worse, please see your doc.

Neurological: If you don't have any skin changes (redness/discoloration), the area is not tender to touch, and there are no new lumps or bumps, then this is most likely due to a neurological condition. Neurologists are best at evaluating this and will most likely recommend getting an MRI to look for any changes in the nerves.

Position is Key: The fact that you can reproduce these symptoms by replicating a movement or position links the diagnosis to a musculoskeletal origin. You likely have changes in your cervical spine (neck area) that with the right movement can be made to impinge on a small area of your spinal chord....Which would explain your repeatable symtomology. Ms would not be positional.

What would be the cause of a reoccurring warm sensation in my calf. Sometimes it's is also just a feeling there. Not lumps, bruises, my leg looks norm?

What you describe: May be what we call a "dysaesthesia". This is a sensation we perceive that doesn't have any obvious cause. Pain from an injury is NOT a dysaesthesia b/c there's an obvious cause. Dyasethesias are often caused by inflammation, pressure or overreaction of the nerves that send impulses from a specific part of the body to the brain. Determining a specific diagnosis or cause requires a medical eval.

What cause a burning sensation in lower leg right below the knee. The burning sensation comes and goes. It's not swellon or warm to touch.

Hard to say: Answer depends on lots of information that we don't have. How long have you had it? When does it occur? Do you have any other medical problems? This is the sort of question best answered after an in-depth history & exam. Unless, after tracking the pain, you can relate it to an activity (certain exercise, prolonged sitting/standing in a certain position or chair) or a particular style of shoe.

Weird isn't it?: We can get all kinds of peculiar symptoms at times that really don't have a good explanation. Sometimes nerves misbehave from compression or being stretched. I wouldn't worry about it unless something else develops.

Get ultrasound: It is reasonable to get an ultrasound to rule out blood clot when someone has pain in the calf region, especially when the pain is only on one side. Infection of the skin should also be considered. Your doctor can evaluate and treat for these possible causes.

I've been over the course of a week getting a warm sensation in my left leg, comes and goes every hour or so, could this be a sign of something bad?

Could be anything: It could be a muscle pain, like strain, or a condition caused by spine disease like herniated disc. Of course a detailed history and physical is necessary and you should see your internist.

I have a warm sensation going through my vein in my leg, can you help tell me what it may be?

Could be inflammatio: Your symptoms are vague and not easy to diagnose. A warm sensation would suggest increased heat which could be due to inflammation, allergy or even could be nerve related. If it is related to a vein issue, it would be concerned about inflammation of the vein called phlebitis. If this was the problem then you should also have pain and hardness along the vein. It may be wise to see a vein md.

Severl possibilities: Exist and thus you should be seen first by your primary care MD. Then they can evaluate for referred pain from GI or Gyn sources. Additional Ortho possibilities include: Iliotibial band syndrome, hip issues or muscle strain vs muscle spasm vs sciatica.Since the treatment differs but most involve a trial of physical therapy and/or antiinflammatories, we need to be sure of the diagnosis. Sitting at work. Got warm sensation in legs then felt faint for a few seconds and it went away. What is this?

Sitting at work. Got warm sensation in legs then felt faint for a few seconds and it went away. What is this?

Nonspecific: This is a nondiagnostic symptom and the fact that no other symptoms followed points to there not being a serious problem. However if recurrent lightheaded episodes occur, it would be important to see a physician who will perform a physical examination including checking blood pressure, Heart rate and rhythm, blood tests for anemia, thyroid function, sugar, etc.
