It depends on why: you have the cough. If you cough every time you take a breath, then it is pretty serious. If you have bronchitis, you need to be seen by healthcare provider to get proper treatment. Some cough drops (e.g. Ricola) or cough syrup can help. Chest tingling cough: Have you been evaluated for asthma, as that can present with dry cough. Was a xray done to check for mass? Consider costochondritis just inflammation of the rib joint but that is usually not associated with cough, could be mycoplasma infection responds to antibiotics, could be reflux responds to prevacid /ranitidine ( if not allergic) , rarely cardiac (check echo) f/u/ w/ doc ...Read more
