If the pain is over the area of the "sore spots", you may have a herpetic outbreak in your head that is causing pain. I.E. Shingles. Cutaneous allodynia: Cutaneous allodynia is the scalp tenderness and pain with hair movement that can happen when a migraine has gone on for a while until there is "central sensitization."
