The joints of neck: When you "crack" your neck, you are forcibly moving the joints of your cervical spine to the limits of the range of motion for those joints. This can cause neck pain. Coughing for about a month. Sudden attacks of cough. Body pain. Chest pain and weakness. When he moves or breaths it causes him pain. What could be?
Rule out dental pain: I recently answered this question. But I am happy to repeat my suggestion. There are many structures at the side of the face. The ear is only one. The jaw joint, the jaw muscles, teeth, nerves and blood vessels are located at the side of the face but people always assume that pain at the side of the face is coming from the ear. If there is no hearing loss, think of dental or jaw muscles. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

There wasn't space for you to mention everything that could be important. If your dr can't find a trail to follow your next stop is a psychotherapist. You don't want to have to keep worrying. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
A sure Dx may need: Imaging of some type or at least a direct exam might be needed to know for sure, but if there is no pain otherwise, it could be an internal bruise or soft tissue injury from excessive coughing or sneezing. People can pull muscles through those when they are violent. A binding (not too tight) might minimize the pain. Ask your provider to check it out and offer advice based on findings. Severe pain all the time on the right side of my head, with earache and headache. What might cause it?
Migraine or vascular: If your hearing is normal, i doubt the ear is the source of the pain. There are many structures at the side of the face. These include the jaw joint, muscles that close the jaw, the teeth and gums. Inflammation of these structures can refer pain to the side of the head. Conversely, head pain can be caused by migraine, inflammation of vascular structures. See your primary doc. ...Read more

Severe pain in head for over a year, muscle weakness, sensitivity to light, nausea, disorientation, decline of eyesight. Any advice please?
Looks like you need: an evaluation by a medical doctor and likely some diagnostic testing. Unsure of what diagnosis the symptoms are suggesting, possibly MS or possibly narrow angle gaucoma, but sounds like you may need to see an neurologist and eye care provider. I would move quickly to be evaluated because sometimes the longer one waits, the changes may not be reversible. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Eye Am Worried: This concerns me. A painful red eye with some swollen lids, watering, headache on that side can be signs of a serious eye problem (glaucoma, iritis, arteritis, etc) so I'd suggest you get to an eye doctor or optometrist pronto, especially if your vision is affected. Those "sniffles" are most likely from your watery eyes. Don't take any chances and have a friend drive you. Avoid bright light/T.V. ...Read more
