Most are okay...: Most of patients with phimosis would not be bothered - no pain - during coitus until the infection / inflammation (balanitis, balamoposthitis) kicks in periodically. Once balanoposthtitis happens and it tends to recur and worsen over time. No there hasn't: As far as I know. This would require a double blinded prospective study of significant # of men, 1/2 who consumed aspartane on regular basis & 1/2 who don't. Can see no reason why phimosis could be caused by aspartane. Would seriously question anyone who has made such claims. Unfortunately, there are all too many false assertions made about such occurrences i.e. from vaccines. Always question! ...Read more
Should i get phimosis treated?I can retract the foreskin when flaccid but not when erect.Causes slight discomfort during sex.Does it need correction?

See your Doctor ASAP: Mak sure you do no have Diabetes. Due to phimosis you are not emptying your bladder completely so is leaking. Yeast/bacterial infection cleared up but now caused phimosis- is there anything I can do to improve this other than being circumsized? Steroid cream?
Phimosis: It is unlikely the infection was the cause of your phimosis. More likely you already had a certain amount of phimosis made worse by inflammation and scarring. There may be effective treatments other than complete circumcision, but not a good idea to treat yourself with steroid. Anyway, OTC steroid creams are weak and probably wouldn't help.
